Karie has been with the firm since January of 2018 as a part-time Tax Preparation Specialist. She grew up in Milligan, Nebraska and graduated from Milligan High School. She then earned her Associates Degree in Accounting from SCC-Beatrice and then a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Peru State College. Karie was with Dana F. Cole and Company in Beatrice for seven years as a paraprofessional accountant. She also was with Good Samaritan Society as the administrator of Samaritan Springs for eight years. Her current full-time position is with Southeast Community College in Beatrice in the accounting department. Karie has one son, Ethan, a seventh grader who keeps busy with many activities including Czech dancing. He was crowned as the 2015-16 Wilber Czech prince. In her spare time, Karie attends the Husker volleyball games, produces scrapbooks for the UNL volleyball players and enjoys bowling.
